This legislative bill requires the Metropolitan Council to publish two types of reports regularly on their website:

1. Monthly Ridership Reports: Every month, the Council must post statistics showing how many people are using each guideway (like light rails) and busway. They also need to compare these numbers to their original projections when they got funding for these services. These monthly reports should be available within 60 days after each month ends and must remain accessible on the website for at least five years.

2. Quarterly Crime Statistics Reports: Every quarter, the Council must provide statistics on crimes that have occurred on light rail vehicles, buses, commuter rail cars, and at transit platforms, stops, or facilities. This report must categorize the data by the type of transit and the type of crime. Like the ridership reports, these must also be kept on the website for a minimum of five years.

These measures aim to increase transparency about transit usage and safety.
