To provide funding for a new maintenance facility in the city of Medford by using state bond money and creating a related bond issuance process.

Subdivision 1 – Appropriation: An amount of 350,000 from the bond proceeds fund is appropriated to the commissioner of employment and economic development (DEED) as a grant to the city of Medford. The funds are for predesign, design, construction, furnishing, and equipping a maintenance facility in Medford.
Subdivision 2 – Bond sale: To raise the money, the commissioner of management and budget shall sell and issue state bonds in an amount up to 350,000. Bond issuance will follow the terms and effects described in Minnesota Statutes sections 16A.631 to 16A.675 and the Minnesota Constitution article XI sections 4 to 7.
