This bill proposes the allocation of $4,037,000 from state transportation funds for various transportation improvements in Arlington, Sibley County, Minnesota. These improvements include designing, conducting environmental analyses, acquiring land, and constructing enhancements at a key intersection, as well as water and sewer improvements, and importantly, extending Sibley County Road 166, known as Freedom Drive, to connect with a major state highway. To finance these projects, the bill authorizes the sale of state bonds up to the amount specified. This funding will be managed by the state’s Commissioner of Transportation in collaboration with local authorities.
