This bill proposes that the state of Minnesota allocate $8,000,000 from its transportation fund for improvements to Progress Parkway in Eveleth. These improvements include predesign, design, engineering, environmental analysis and mitigation, land acquisition, construction, and reconstruction. The funding aims to enhance intersections, and realign and extend the roads linking U.S. Highway 53 and St. Louis County State-Aid Highway 142 to Trunk Highway 37 and Station 44 Road. To finance this, the state will issue bonds up to the amount of $8,000,000. This financial allocation is an addition to a previous appropriation for the same project.
