This bill relates to education in Minnesota and allows for the administration of a nationally recognized college entrance exam to high school students. It amends several sections of the Minnesota Statutes to establish a standardized testing process and requires the commissioner of education to set a testing schedule for the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCAs) for students in grades 3 through 8 and a college entrance exam for students, typically in grades 11 or 12.
