This legislative bill proposes allocating $1,200,000 from the general fund in fiscal year 2026 to the Commissioner of Transportation. The funds will be used to resurface a specified section of Trunk Highway 74 in Winona County, Minnesota, extending from north of Elba to Winona County State-Aid Highway 30. This project will include design and engineering work, the acquisition of necessary right of way, and the construction itself. The Commissioner can choose from several surface methods such as Otta seal, double Otta seal, or double chip seal for the project. The funds are to be a one-time appropriation and will remain available until June 30, 2028.
