This bill proposes to grant $2,000,000 in the year 2026 from Minnesota's general fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development. This money is intended for the Sanneh Foundation, a nonprofit organization, to support programs outside of school and during summer. These programs will focus on mentoring and learning interventions that teach behavioral, social, and emotional skills. The programs are designed to benefit low-income students of color.
