This legislative bill proposes that the Commissioner of Transportation in Minnesota be prohibited from reducing, closing, or removing any current vehicle travel lanes on Interstate Highway 94 between Minneapolis and St. Paul. Additionally, the bill would prevent any state funds from being used to study or propose the construction of a boulevard or land bridge on that section of the highway. The only exceptions mentioned in the bill allow for lane reductions or closures necessary for routine maintenance, resurfacing, emergency reconstruction, or similar essential works.
