  1. Be recognized as a veteran under Minnesota law.
  2. Have their federal employment involuntarily terminated on or after January 20, 2025.
  3. Not have been a resident of Minnesota on January 20, 2025, but relocate and establish residency in Minnesota before January 1, 2027.
  4. Secure a job principally located in Minnesota, working at least 20 hours per week by January 1, 2027.

• Grant Details: Qualified veterans will be able to apply for and receive a $10,000 relocation bonus from the program. These grants will be given out on a rolling basis based on application approval.

• Reporting Requirement: A report detailing the operation and outcomes of the relocation bonus program must be submitted to the Minnesota House and Senate committees associated with workforce development and veterans by March 1, 2027.
