to require economic interest disclosures for candidates and officials in the Three Rivers Park District, adding to existing campaign finance disclosure requirements and ensuring transparency of financial interests.

Adds a new subdivision (Economic interest disclosure—Three Rivers Park District) to Minnesota Statutes 2024 section 383B.041.
For candidates: a candidate for the Three Rivers Park District board of commissioners must file an original statement of economic interest with Hennepin County within 14 days after the end of the candidate filing period.
For elected officials: an individual serving on the Three Rivers Park District board must file an annual statement of economic interest with Hennepin County for each year they remain in office.
The original statement and each annual statement must contain the information listed in Minnesota Statutes section 10A.09 subdivision 5.
The provisions of section 10A.09 subdivisions 6a, 7, and 9 apply to statements required by this new subdivision (i.e., the same reporting requirements apply).

Expands campaign finance disclosure requirements to include Three Rivers Park District candidates and officials, aligning local park district disclosures with broader state practices.
Designates Hennepin County as the filing location for these disclosures.
