This bill proposes that the city of Mankato be allowed to issue a special liquor license to Minnesota State University Mankato. This special license would permit the sale of wine and malt (beer-type) liquors at the university, specifically for events held at the Taylor Center on the campus. The license would allow sales every day of the week, during times and under conditions that are normally applicable to liquor sales in Minnesota, as well as any additional restrictions the city might impose. The areas covered by the license do not need to be directly connected, as long as they are within the university campus boundaries and are specified in the license application.
