This bill allows the city of Mankato to issue a special liquor license to Minnesota State University Mankato. This license permits the university to sell wine and malt liquors on its campus, even if the sale areas are not directly next to each other, as long as they are all within the campus boundaries. The license would permit alcohol sales every day of the week to people at events at the Taylor Center, within the limitations of state laws and any additional rules set by the local licensing authority. Other state laws regarding liquor sales remain applicable to this license.
