   • Another portion is designated to the general fund.

5. Surcharge Requirement: Deputy registrars must assess a surcharge on every transaction where filing fees are collected, with the revenue used locally or retained by the registrar, depending on their status (public official or not).

6. Compensation for No-Fee Transactions: Deputy registrars will be compensated for processing transactions that do not involve a fee. These compensations are based on the number of transactions processed and are paid quarterly.
