This bill authorizes the city of Minneapolis to issue an on-sale intoxicating liquor license for food halls at specified locations. It amends a 2017 law to allow an anchor tenant in a food hall at 501 30th Avenue Southeast and 800 LaSalle Avenue to obtain a liquor license. The license permits alcohol service and consumption throughout the establishment, including a common seating area shared by multiple independent food vendors. Patrons will be able to purchase food from these vendors while consuming alcoholic beverages sold by the license holder.
