This bill amends a 2017 Minnesota law to allow the city of Minneapolis to issue an on-sale intoxicating liquor license for food halls. Specifically, it permits an anchor tenant of a food hall to obtain a liquor license, which would enable alcohol service and consumption throughout the designated food hall premises, including in shared seating areas where patrons may also bring food from independent vendors. The amendment expands the locations eligible for this type of license to include both 501 30th Avenue Southeast and 800 LaSalle Avenue.
