This bill mandates that health plans in Minnesota provide coverage for self-measured blood pressure monitoring devices and associated services for individuals diagnosed with uncontrolled hypertension. Coverage is limited to one device every three years. Additionally, health plans must reimburse healthcare providers for costs related to patient training, data transmission, and delivering co-interventions. The bill also amends Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 256B.0625, subdivision 31, and introduces a new provision in Minnesota Statutes chapter 62Q.
