This legislative bill proposes to allocate a total of $600,000 from Minnesota’s general fund over two years to support Wellness in the Woods. This organization will use the funds to offer daily peer support and special sessions for people recovering from substance abuse, those recently released from incarceration, or individuals who have undergone trauma. Specifically, $300,000 will be provided in the year 2026 and another $300,000 in 2027.
